The History of Tibetan Yoga The ancestor of other forms of yoga, Tibetan Yoga has all that other styles do, synergistically combined, and far more (unique non-yoga-like energy balancing moves you'll read about later). If you're already a practitioner of some other form of yoga, and it works great for you, stick to it. But if you try ours, you may recognize some familiar postures, breathing, etc., or you may not. But if you stop and really consider the "whole", youll discover an integral approach to yoga that is missing in many other types. Some systems of yoga focus primarily on postures, some on breathing, some on stretching, some on intense workouts to try and "force" the Kundalini to rise, and some focus on making you sweat by essentially doing Hatha yoga postures in a hot room or hot weather. Many martial arts have dropped the "inner form" or energy aspects of their fighting art over the years, in favor of teaching the physical aspects, either for making it easier to learn thus making more money, or not believing the energy aspects were important. THE ONLY GREAT martial artists, trained first in the energy or "Ki/Chi" aspects/moves, while simultaneously wearing down their ego and selfishness to become "harmless", THEN the moved on to the physical training. Because Tibetan Yoga never "dropped" doing certain things like the focus on energy over the centuries (to create a new style, or focus on one particular aspect like poses, breathing, or movements), it still uses a balanced holistic combination of stretching, postures (asanas or poses), movements, intense aerobic breathing techniques, and ancient secret energy techniques.
The Ancient Acupuncture Meridian Balancing Yoga Techniques (Don't worry - no needles) Totally unique to this yoga, are techniques that balance the acupuncture meridians through a series of simple hand movements around your body. They take only a few minutes to do, but it helps you feel fantastic and healthy every day. Weve actually measured the points with sophisticated scientific equipment, and seen the results (more below). If your meridians get out of balance, you may feel ill or it may make you ill. Or if you just feel "drained" at any time, even at work, you can quickly and easily re-balance yourself (you can even do it during bathroom breaks!). 20 minute tibetan yoga™ Once you learn our tibetan yoga flow, a mere 20 minutes a day can help keep your body, mind, spirit & emotions in harmony and tuned to peak performance. The instructional video, recorded on a Maui seashore, is about 45 minutes long. Once youve learned it, you can move on to the workout video a 20 minute tibetan yoga™ "flow" recorded in the Garden of the Gods Park in Colorado.
